The Department of English Language and communication skills is one of the leading department of the Institute with a richness of excellence and quality teaching. The department has always been committed to the symbiotic relationship of teaching and the larger concerns of society.

The English language department maintains its strong commitment to traditional areas of study, while also supporting groundbreaking research and teaching in new and interdisciplinary approaches to Medical Studies. Courses are designed to be challenging. interesting and intellectually stimulating to cater the needs of national and international students from diverse backgrounds.

The state of the art courses related to four basic communication skills: Speaking, Listening. Writing and Reading have been added in the curriculum to give a diverse perspective to the students and to convey knowledge of linguistic competence as well as verbal performance.
