Department manages six operation theaters round the clock for elective and emergency service providing anaesthesia for all types of surgeries including laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic,neuro surgery etc. Services offered includes general and regional anaesthesia, epidural analgesia with different nerve blocks/labels. Operation theaters are well equipped with modern anaesthesia machines, multi-parameter monitors and other ancillary equipment. Anaesthesiology department also manages state of the art surgical ICU where critically ill patients are managed with full enthusiasm and dedication. ICU is equipped with latest ventilators and monitoring equipments. Pain clinic is being run on regular basis, where patients having acute or chronic pain are managed by competent doctors.
