Inspector General Hospitals, Medical Directorate, GHQ, Maj Gen Rizwan Sadiq visited QIMS on 18 Sep 2024. Principal QIMS, Prof Brig Imran Ahmed, Commandant / Vice Principal QIMS Brigadier Zain Niaz Naqvi SI (M), Head of Departments, Senior Faculty and Admin Staff received the honorable guest in-front of admin block.

Independence Day was celebrated on 12th Aug at QIMS, all students & Faculty members particiapted in the event with  zeal & fervour. Flag  hosting was done in the morning followed by Independence March/Wak by students & Faculty members  

A two days workshop on Biomedical Ethics was arranged by the department of Community Medicine with the prior approval of competent authorities. The workshop was conducted by a highly professional team of Centre of Biomedical Ethics Culture (CBEC) which an integral part of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplant (SIUT)

Department of Community Medicine, Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences arranged a visit to USEC Umeed Special Education Center, on 3rd July 2024. A total of 101 students along with 5 faculty members visited the institute.
